   I am editing my review after using these for a week. Initially I was disappointed because these turned out to be basically a double cheese cloths with a pattern on one side. However I revised my review and now give it the full 5 stars. They are very soft yet strong. Excellent for swaddling. These go through wash every day and so far show no signs of losing color or tearing. They are very large and offer lots of different options like folding in two or wrapping with multiple layers. We go through these wraps first on the daily basis before turning to the less than perfect wraps from the other brands. The presentation is beautiful and it would make a lovely present to the parents.

   I purchased these in anticipation of the birth of our second son this month. The size of the blankets is quite generous, and will surely make swaddling an easier process. But I wasn’t impressed with the texture and quality of the material, especially for the money. I know it will soften over time, but after washing once per the instructions with the blankets, I already have pilling. My cheap flannel receiving blankets, including some oversized ones I have received as hand me downs didn’t pill after one wash.

   My order has just arrived and I’m delighted with the blankets! They are really big, much larger than I expected and really nice quality. You can tell they are a premium item. I wish I had bought more!! The pattens are larger than I expected also, very vibrant and super cute. I bought the modern pattern and the zoo animals for my yet to be born son. The designs are really unisex, they’re not girly at all.
   The packaging is nice and modern. The only problem I encountered is that the fancy bag they’re in is like a rubbery plastic. Today it was 42c so when I opened the delivery box all i could smell was that gross rubber smell. I’ll wash the blankets anyway, but it was nasty.

   Anyway, love my purchase. Delivery was on time and I would definitely purchase again! (maybe after delivery so the smell doesn’t make me want to puke!!)

   I got theses after seeing a friends, the zoo pattern is too cute and the material is so soft and lovely after one wash, they are perfect for us as we live in a hot humid climate with a lot of sun so versatile for using as sleeping, napping or cover-ups, i even use one as a cover up while breastfeeding if I’m out and about. so light and thin i don’t have to worry about my little guy getting covered and over heating or getting smothered. My husband was skeptical about the “muslin” fabric but loves them now theya re here. a must have for any momma, and at only $10 per blanket a great price we will use these a lot more.

   Hands down, these are the best blankets for swaddling. My daughter loves them. We rarely leave the house without one. Try it, you’ll be hooked.
